FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS, POLITICS AND EUROPEAN STUDIES

Globalization, as the principal characteristic of the contemporary world, makes the knowledge of the international environment crucial for many career paths. That is why the Faculty of International Relations, Politics and European studies (FIRPES) offers a unique and comprehensive study program. The highly interdisciplinary fields of study give the students broad understanding of the political institutions, actors and processes on the international arena; as well as a thorough analysis of the history, philosophy, political and economical system of Europe, the core of the western civilization as we know it. These issues are being studied from different perspectives, thus providing the students with knowledge of the interaction and interdependence of major social, cultural, economic and political issues in the modern world.

The teaching method at FIRPES is unique and the student is the center of the learning process. This entails lectures for small groups and interactive classes organized by distinguished national and international professors and experts. Furthermore, the methodology of study is created to develop skills in research, languages, writing, comparative analyses and critical thinking.

Besides the compulsory courses, this program offers a wide range of elective courses, thus motivating its students to enhance their knowledge. Moreover, FIRPES is offering a MA program, with an exceptional curriculum, with advanced courses, which follow the latest developments in the field.
