NYUS - New York University Skopje

The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at New York University Skopje based on American and European Studies sets as its foremost goal the display of excellence and leadership in Informatics programs and offers. Our undergraduate programs in general Computer Sciences and Information Systems are offering state-of-the-art education in information technology and science with emphasis on creative human applications. Starting from October 2008 we are offering Staffordshire University (http://www.staffs.ac.uk) undergraduate studies in three schemas: Computer Science and Software Engineering, Applied Information Technology and Web and Multimedia. Each of those consists of several award titles on the Bachelor of Science (Honors) level. These are three years programs (180 ECTS) which result in double degree after graduation: A Staffordshire University, Faculty of Computing Engineering and Technology UK degree and a national degree accredited in Republic of Macedonia delivered by NYUS. Enrollment is open for students of the first year of studies and transfer students wishing to be considered for entry at the second year of studies.

The offer consists of a variety of courses (modules) that can be taken from the list of available options and offers a unique opportunity for straightforward transfer for studying at Staffordshire University in UK and/or qualifying for a variety of university level certificates offered in their original format delivered by Staffordshire University. Studying in Skopje our students will have access to all on-line materials available through Staffordshire University as well as to all hard-copy materials available at NYUS library. They are encouraged to explore their personal interests, and graduate with the knowledge, skills and experience for a wide variety of careers.

Our faculty and staff strive for excellence when creating and disseminating new knowledge of computing, and prepare students to be leaders in the field of computer sciences. State-of-the-art equipment, a dedicated computer centre, practically oriented teaching and learning and internationally recognized professors working in tight collaboration with the colleagues from Staffordshire University provide the best conditions for studying at our University.
